Hi everyone this weeks challenge over at just a scrappin.com was to do a 3-D, Card or Layout with a cheerleading theme. My son John just celebrated his 26 th birthday and he flew out to Dallas for opening day to see the Cowboys play. His day was filled with meet and greets awesome picture taking a tour of the stadium and even though he was born and raised in Califorina he is a true Cowboy football fan.
Supplies used in my layout were:
12X12 Jet Stream paper by core dinations foundations.com
football mini sticker from EK Success
mini star brads by making memories in white and blue
bling in silver on the pom poms and in the corners of the pictures by Tulip
my cheerleader was cut using the cricut craft room download at 3.75
I colored in her legs to make it look like she had her cowgirl boots with #36 in smoke silver
her hair was #5 yellow
#13 in red for her lips
#33 in blue for the eyes
for the flesh I used a pastel chalking pencil in #4439 light flesh
all these were memory pencils from the General company.

Anything goes challenge
Hello my DT Sisters.
Fall is finally here yet in sunny California it's a warm 80 degrees. For my anything goes challenge I used a purple cardstock . In a royal purple ink. I choose the sentiment Today belongs to you. Using the chalking colors orange/yellow I colored in the butterflies and then added assorted colors of glitter stickles. I added two loopy brads to the card with a cream twine and also a lime green twine which I knoted in the middle. On the edge of the card I stamped with a shimmer green ink a pretty vine which connects with the lime flower diecut and as a finishing touch a cute diecut butterfly. Don't forget to stop by and see all the great projects at just a scrappin.com and join the fun with your own creative journey.
Supplies used:
Purple cardstock by Paper Reflections
Assorted twine by Pebbles Inc.
White loopy brads from Queen's Eyelets
Sentiement stamp by Inkadinkado
Floral stamp by Stampendous from Changito the Monkey
Butterflies chalked with Pebbles Inc
Floral diecut from K&company
butterfly diecut from My Big Ideas

Swap Challenge
Hi everyone. It's been awhile life sure becomes busy when school is in full swing and there just seems to be not enough time in the day.
I was so excited to be a part of this swap challenge and just want to thank Patti and my swap buddy Bridget. She sent so many wonderful emblishments and a beautiful chipboard mini album just so I can do what I never do and scrap about me!!!! Let me see where to begin she sent a 12x12 choco color paper that she was kind enough to score and cut this was the starting point to my very first exposion box!!! She included assorted ribbon, stickers, mini emblishments a mini punch and a 6x6 assorted paper pad, I hope I remembered everything.
I themed my box with my son David and his friends from his 17th birthday from last year. In the first box I added the title ''A Son Is........" I then added the words talented, funny and perfect. I stamped a cupcake design using studio g and then with my cricut cut a cupcake that I then added blue glitter to make it look like frosting. In the group picture I titled it ''Friendship" and then added the words alike but diffrent. I had the picture of David acting like he was shooting flames from his mouth so I added the words crazy and cool.
I hope everyone enjoys my very first exposion box I know that I'll be making many more thanks to Bridget.
